I can't wait to see that Sportsman 700 twin, suppossedly with available manual shift. The Rubicon owners should have waited a bit longer!

guy,
Much better a Honda than a Polaris. At least for me. Honda still has that reputation for dependability and, oh yes, reliability. When I spend my hard earned money I want a product I know is reliable and dependable. Oh yeah, I know the Rubicon is unproven at this time. I know someone will bring this up so I'm bringing it up to save someone else the trouble of doing so. I will put my money on Honda and it's reputation any day. I know I left out other quality machines that are very reliable, but I addressed Honda because that is what I proudly own.
By the way guy, what cloud do you live on.
Note: I own a 1988 Honda 350 Foreman and have had absolutely no problems with it. I did have to replace one of the headlights due to water getting in it. I have been offered 3000.00 for it. Not bad for an old reliable Honda.

well said rubione.honda is the most reliable quad there is. in one of my atv action book they said of all of their years testing atvs only on 2 occasions did a honda break down.the reverse system on a 300ex broke and the electric shift on a 450es broke. now that is what i call reliable.you think polaris can top that???? you cant even ride in water with a polaris because the belt slip as soon as it gets one drop of water on it, you can ride in water all day with a honda.

400ex it's guy's like you who know it all that know nothing, get your facts straight before spoutting off.I have yet to have a belt slip on my 500sp,it has never given me a lick of trouble now how much more dependable can you get,I ride some extreme stuff and it has yet to let me down or have the belt slip.I ride with others that have manual tranny and when we hit big snow drift that I have gone through with my piece of junk POLARIS 500sp they try it and get stuck. You either have power or you have speed you can't have both. Why was it until the other manufactors came out with auto many of the ATV pulls put polaris in it's own class as it out pulled every thing else hands down.If you don't like a belt don't ride one,but at least know what you are talking about before shooting your mouth off.All the machines have good and bad points as long as we are rideing what works for us who cares!!!It's all the negitive crap that gets in the way of the informative stuff. You'll not go anywhere I can't and I not not leave you any where.Just stuff the negitivity and enjoy, you are ruining a good post.CM

Rubione, I agree, Honda's reliability is outstanding. But there are tons of people here with Polaris quads and they have never had a problem. Now maybe the machine broke because of rider error.

Good points ...one wonders if our manufactors ever listen to our wishes...The Rube' does raise the bar" however ...as well as Lowering your BANK account!!
At least now you have a worth wile contender in the 500/600 class..my 450es was no match against the Bigger more powerfull and expensive bikes!!
It is odd how Polaris 425 always is pitted against all other 400's ...while the 450 with 7 cc's more always had to go against your Sportsman and Grizz'lies...now at least Honda has entered the playing field ...and everyone will benefit later!!
..Bill
