hey some guy offerd to trade me:
A 250r race motor all done by duncan and a new bottom end with 38 mm carb and radiator and
a 250x over 1000 dollars in motor with ac bumper,black maier plastics, clarke gas tank, renthal bars, progressive front shocks, itp .190 rims with fast treckers with extra plastics, airbox, a arms and more

for my 400ex
is that a good trade???

You got a ds650 you could sell the 250r motor and sell the 250x. but you got alot of goodies on the 400ex of yours

 

Well, i would see what your son wants, unless it is you typing. Anyway, i from what i've heard, a 250r is a great thing to have.

the 250x motor has all new valves camshaft the pistion is .25 over so its a 275 it has a barnett clutch and more

the 250r motor has
paul turner powerhead
curtis sparks reed cage
carb is bored to a 38mm by bms motorsports
hinson clutch basket with stock plates and fibers
chrome stator cover
86 cylinder, ported,polished, and bored
bottom end rebuilt last year wtih new crank berings
baldwin case saver
duncan shifter
14 tooth sprocket
bille exhaust flange
the motor needs a countershaft

is that a lot of money??? a countershaft??
