Default Honda 450R review

I personally think customers would be better served if manufacturers would just stick to set sizes or close to it as follows, 50, 80, 125, 250, 500, 750, and 1000. Of course keep updateing and improveing as technology affords itself. I guess if we could compare apples to apples, some manufacturers would be affraid of the competition. Like when Suzuki uped the ante when they built the z400. Instead of playing on a level playing field, competition leaned the odds in their favor going up to 450.

that screwed up....ok with the 450cc...they have that b/c of the racing classes...

Man snowmobiles have a lot more different sets of sizes compared to quads.

I currently know of (I will try and list a sled that I know):

2-stroke
270 - 3500 Citation
340 - some polaris
380 - Formula S
400 - olympic
440 - MXZ
500 - Formula Deluxe
521 - Mach 1
583 - Mach 1
600 - MXZ
670 - MXZ
700 -
800 - MXZ
900 -
1000 - Some arctic cat (an 800MXZ can beat it)

*I may be wrong on some of those numbers (521, 700 and 900) but I think they are right. I know there are other engine sizes as well but I don't know what they are.

4-stroke
998 (I think it's actually called a 1000 and not a 998) -Some Yamaha sled
1200 -

Oh and I think they have a 500 4-stroke engine but I'm not sure.

I think they picked 440 or 450 for a class because it was beleived to be competetive with the 250 two strokes and they could race in the same class. They have enough four stroke 440 or 450's now to have their own class without haveing to combine 2 and 4 strokes. An unlimited class would be a good place to combine the different sizes and strokes. Of course if there is not enough participation in a particular class, they could be combined on a season by season basis.

Don't forget brake fluid, battery acid, chain lube, axle grease, grip glue and turn signal fluid.
