ethier way its probably going to beat a 400ex And I dont think That the 300 can race with the quads in that division. I would suggust some better tires then stock, maybe handle bars, nerf bars, and maybe a better shock in the back.

check your local tracks for quad classes. some tracks have a small bore class (up to 350cc) & big bore classes. i would do that before you make your decision about selling your quad.

I have a few questions does anyone know how much the 300ex engine weighs alone/cost to ship it? and im not looking to spend mutch more than 1k on building up the engine putting another 1k into the susspension for now(work shocks and 2+ a-arms)
i swa it was $638 for the basic kit(w/o the full race porting, pipe and carb and all), so what other mods would u suggest for 100-300? Would u suggest the full race porting, and removing rev limiter or something? and does the full race porting make a big differnce?

btw does the
310 cam
heavy duty valve springs
gaskets
Labor
Cylinder boring
Total w/ arias 310 Piston kit $638(guessing the piston kit is running like 11:1 compression i gotta get aroudn to calling them tomorrow, if i have the time)
Full Race Porting $150
Rev Box removed $90

sound like a decent set up?
and what does porting do if you dont mind... i heard somewhere it had something to do w/ top end? Does it have anythign to do w/ torque at all?
