a few mx questions

well i still have my 300ex, and i got a few choices i can do, i can either sell it and get a 400ex(or 250R-borrowing some money from my mom-probally around 1.2-1.3k) i will need, or i can set my 300ex for MX. if i ended up getting a 310 or 350 kit or something below 400 would i be racing against 400exs still?(if so im guessing it wouldnt be worth it since the 400exs will be like 440's and all), and how mutch of a differnce in speed, will i be from a stock 400ex if i get like the whole 10 yards w/ the 310 or 350 kit(or something within thouse) including the cam, carb, and everything else. And any suggestions on the kits if i go w/ a 300ex? and Susspension set up(work shocks maby? 2+ a arms?)

sappenin2,
why dont you grow up and stop making an A$$ out of yourself by replying with such useless, uninformed, immature replies. REMEMBER that there are kids on this forum who are actually looking for decent feedback. I think i speak for everyone mature on this forum when i say that its people like you who cause alot of the negativity in these discussions. Go somewhere else if you want to act like that.

yeah if you can get another quad then I would go for it . but if not do that 310 kit or bigger ,I was looking in getting a kit close to 330 . yes if you are going to keep the quad get like +2 a-arms and axle .I have the 400ex suspension for the front so that should do for now.

have you ever heard of Hetrick Racing?
310 Cam
$129.
Heavy Duty Valve Springs $129
Gaskets
$26.
Labor if motor is shipped
$150.
Bore Cylinder
$40.
Total with Arias 310 piston kit
$638.
including all labor does 638 sound like a decent price? I am going to call them up about it tomorrow i think
Full Race Port Job
Add $150.
Hetrick Racing Pipe and Silencer Kit
Add $309.
38mm Lectron Carburetor
Add $289.
39mm or 41mm FCR Carburetor
Add $495.
Rev Box Mod
Add $90
Clutch Plates
Add $59.70
Heavy Duty Clutch Springs
Add $9.95
would probally end up adding a new carb, remove my rev box, and port it
im going to look into some 2+ a-arms on ebay and maby work shocks
