I am extremely happy with my purchase. It was worth the long wait. Some miscellaneous things-it holds almost 6 quaarts of oil, will start in any gear by pulling the right hand brake in a little, has great compression braking (3mph or so going down a hill), very stable going across an incline at an angle, spark plug has a coated tip that you do not clean or gap or it will ruin it (self cleans, but is not platinum), recommend 87-89 octane (hope that does not come back), 8" GC at the rear dff housing and 11" at the axle, a lot of torque!. Going from my stock 300 (aka 282cc) to this is the same feeling I got going from a 2WD 1/2 ton-truck to a Hummer. It feels funny because my knees were at the top of the gas tank ont the 300 and are below it now. And, the handlebars on my 300 hit my knees in a sharp turn if I did not swing my knee out to the side. Now, the handle bars are above my knees. I went thru a ditch today that my 300's a-arm use to drop and bottom out with a thud and the tires stayed ont he ground. It turns as easy as my 300.
If you are at all interested in it, please go ride it. I have no appreciable experience with any other ATVs, other than my 300. So I cannot compare toruqe to a 450 or the shift to a Rancher or the ride to an SP500.
That is all I can think of now. I will check mpg and let you know about that.

$6999 in USA. Someone posted $10,500 in Canada. But, I have no way of knowing if that is right.

I was told around $8,600.00 in Canada. The same price as the Sportsman 500.

I received my new "Ruby" from Arkport Cycles in NY last evening. I've only put 13 miles on so far.I'm really impressed. I traded my 98 450S with 4242 miles. The Ruby has power steering when compared to my old Foreman.I really like the ESP mode.It is super smooth!!!!!

here is a question: When rideing up to a fallen tree and you hammer the gas on the old 450s it will instantly send the power to the wheels and somewhat lighten the frount end to get over the tree, How well does the rubie trans do in the same situation? does it send instant power as the old gear trans does?

I can't tell you how well it climbs over fallen trees But I can tell you it's much faster than my 450. I just got mine two hours ago and can tell you this much, I think the 55mph top end is very conserveative. I had up it to 53 mph and let off. It rushes up to 50 mph very quickly. I must keep reminding myself that its new and needs to be broken in before i go all out.
