I have a question about my quad. I have had it for 3 weeks and its a 00'
300ex. Anyways everything has been pretty good. THe only thing i have changed is the tire pressures but that shouldnt affect this problem.Well last night I washed it
and it didnt start for about 40 min but then it finally did. I understand
what happend there but when I rode it some more it sound like the rpms were
getting too high for what they should be. In a way it acted like it was
geared down. It went the same speed but sounded like it took more rpms to
get to that speed. e.g. Now I dont know that this is true just trying to
show you waht its doing. It did go about 15mph at say ohh 4,000rpm in 3rd.
Now it seems to go about 15mph in 3rd but at like 7,000 rpm. What could
have happened if anything at all? let me know
thanks

Call up your dealer and find out if it is, they will be able to tell you.

yea I have the same problem......when I hit water fast and it splashes everywhere it cuts out for about minute until it dries off then it runs good again. I guess it's a wiring problem. I can go throught deep creeks and it doens't do it....only when I hit water fast and it splashes alot. what could this be?

water in the air box?.....wiring exposed?.....pinched......my one does it some times too......no problem......i'll work it out adventually.....cracked crankcase (round the sprocket?).....the clutch is sounding likes....someone has tinkered with it or genuine problem......don't think i have ever adjusted the one on my 250x!
......or cables stretch becasue it is new bike??.....ask the dealer......doubt if its clutch plates......unless you drive like a grandma
