I rode a Warrior for years, and was never so happy as the day I sold it and got the 400!! The Warrior handles big and heavy. Yamaha needs to retire the tired, old Warrior.

sometimes the tired old things still are worth keeping, Yamaha will keep it just for the Novice Rider, I like it for a few reasons...Reverse the easist on the market to use, It is reliable, motor very basic easy to work on, 6 speed tranny not needed but gave one, price cheap for what you get, eletric start two headlights ect ect, Yamaha has the industry for ATV Thx you for making the other look and act!!!

I only gave $4,300 for my 03' 400ex new. i don't think the warrior will be around much longer.

Jimbo suggested retail for a 400ex 04 is $5299 higher than the warrior are you saying the 400ex is out as well? THe 400ex stayed aroung much longer than I ever thought, when they came out with no reverse everyone marked them off but look how long they been around and just think Honda (Quote from dirt wheels) could have sould twice as many yes I said twice as many and warrior would have been bumped up to a 400cc years ago to keep up with the trend, in conclusion I feel this is me...Warrior will be on the market longer than a 400ex for the simple fact it is more of a rider freindly ATV, Now jimbo don't get me wrong I ride a 400ex and will be for awhile and I will buy my wife yes a friendly warrior for it is a all around super buy and ride....peace my friend

If I were Yamaha, I would just "upgrade" the warrior to a 400. Keep the reverse.
