Hey ATVgirl... you got off easy! This past weekend we did a mud-run with the stuff up to our headlights!
He had the easy job of cleaning the bikes... I had to clean the clothes, the floors (when he came in and sat down at the kitchen table for me to help take off his muddy boots and pants) and the laundry. And all this was after I crashed into the boulder and screwed up my leg! Aren't you the lucky one! ROTFL

Whatever you all do DO NOT use castrol super clean, it will eat the finish off rims and the honda coating on the engines.. just read the back of the bottle, cant use the stuff on anything!

First I spray all the big chunks of mud off then I use a brush and scrub water mixed with turtle wax then I give it a rinse then I use a cloth and spray and wipe on son-of-a-gun then last I rinse it again.....and I tell you guys my 87 looks brand new after alll of that.

Sometimes if the mud is is thick on the fenders i'll preassure wash it (careful not to take off any stickers)then i usually brush on turtle wax and rise it off....my 87 looks brand new when it's all cleaned.

Amen LT250R_86. I use the same things. First, I hose off my quad. Then I spray on the Simple Green. After it sits for a few minutes, I hose it off. If there are some really tough places, I'll spray some more on, and scrub it. Then, hose it off. I towel dry the plastic, and spray all the moving parts with WD-40. The greatest product ever invented. Well, it really is a great product, but probably not that great.

well this is what i do

when me and my friends get through mudd ridin we ahve a creek by our house a 5 gallon bucket and a rag that i stole from my house[no one tell my mom]
we drive in the creek get the rag and get all the mud off then we go home after we rinse our clothes off alittle bit.

p.s the reason we do this so we wont hear our moms griping on about how tired they are on cleaning our muddy clothes and ur gonna tear that fourwheeler up if u keep mud riding like that
