Ok guys, enough of the arguing. It's retarded and is getting nothing acomplished. Vinson581, something must really be wrong with your Rubi if it smokes at 1000 miles. Either something you did, or it just plain is a peice of ****.

i honestly agree with yellow rincon, i have absolutely done nothing to my rubicon to make it do this. i change the oil every 400mi, and the diff fliuds at around 700mi or so. so it only leads me to belive something is up, being i have worked on everything and my vinson seems to be trouble free.

i started the rubicon and it was very cold it smoked so bad i could not start it inside, this bothers me because of how good i take care of it.

and about argueing of corse i you own a yamaha lets say to keep out of the (suzuki vs. Honda). and another guy owns a polaris. the polaris guy will say that yamahas are a large picece of .... and same goes for the yamaha fellow. its all the fact that whatever you own someone else will come along and say theirs is better, so their is basically no point to it.

and as far as the "BEST" bike it is all a matter of prefrence, to be honest i looked at each and ever brand before i got my bike, and it suited me the best, so home it went.

i am done with the argueing.

You probably need to have it checked out. Your rings may just be shot or something, but I haven't heard of one with only 1000 miles smoking already. My friend had 1500 on his and it ran just fine, but now he has a Rincon with 1100 on it. He rides too much..lol

Well I have worked on Honda now for going on 5 years, and worked on Polaris for a little less than 2 years. Does not matter what you have something well go bad. But if you have a 1000 miles on something it's not Honda's fault you have to have something that has happened or what ever. You'll need to find out why it is the way it is cause it will do it again if you don't find ther reason for it smoking. If you were to say that you had a 100 miles then ok Honda screwed up I'll beleive that. This is what I have seen being problems K&N air filters they don;'t stop dirt like they say they do or ppl just to mantain them same as the stock one ppl clean them then don't reoil them or put just motor oil on them. The problem with motor oil is when it gets warmed up it all runs to the bottom of the filter leaving about 90% of the air filter wide open. You sound like you change oil but are you draining both plugs leaving old oil in there can still ruin a engine. Taking in water, maybe not alot but if the filter gets wet and you keep riding same as driving with water in the oil will take out rings just as fast as no air filter. So if you can tell me more info be gald to help find why you are using oil.

Dont bother. He's the type that if you tell him the sky is blue, he will argue. Anyone can see there is some problem with the machine. The problem isnt because of the name on the side. You would have better luck teaching calculus to a three year old.

By the way. Suzuki better than honda, bwaaahaaaa hhaaaaaaaaaaaaa bwaaaaaaahhhaaaaaa

ya know what imo screw you and your bahha ahahaha. i have a problem, and am trying to get it fixed. now i see mine the piston and rings. now whats yours? mabey the underware is on to tight?

thanks cluby for you assistance. the motor only seems to smoke when it is cold, and smokes bad if you give it gas. it seems that when it warms up the smoke disapates. i am gonna try and change the oil, and filter, and run good mobil or mobil 1 oil, not the crappy quaker state, hey i have heard from a bimmer dealer that it is recycled oil, hmm i would'nt want to run that in my bike.

wyowheeler: think it is funny that ure suzuki vs honda, do you read earlyer posts? before you open your mouth? mabey i have said like 10x i am done argueing, as well as a honda owner "yellowrincon" so before you say blah blah blah. read before you open your mouth. seems like you are a person who has closed views on companyes, hey if you have been with honda all your life i respect that, as well if a guy has always had yamaha, who cares? guess whatever you grow up rideing, you will be buying again and again in the long run.
