Default Cheapest Best place to resleeve

Ok guys I really need you on this one, I need to resleeve a 250R cylinder but on a budget. Need to know if they have any kind of warranty or if piston is included (if not not how much?). Thanx!

Default Cheapest Best place to resleeve

when i rebuilt my 400ex i just bought an entire top end rebuild kit which included a new sleeve, piston, rings, wrist pin, it was $165 which is cheap for entire kit but you could get one for a 250r for around $200 if you look around, as for installing the sleeve, i just took it to my local machine shop (van senus) and they bored out the cylinder block, installed the sleeve and milled the gasket surface for $170, it should be about the same amount of money seeing a how you are rebuilding a 2 stroke and port blending will be necessary

Hey thanx! but I just found a place that will do it for $280 shipped. This includes piston kit (pro X or wiseco), new sleeve (LA), bore to size I want and port matching. He says I should have it back in about a week because I have to ship it all the way to MN.
