i was wondering if anyone makes a kit to put brake lights on this bike, or a custom job for that matter.?

Well Honda did make brake light kits for most of the Honda quads but not the 500. But you could tap into the front right brake switch the one that lets you start in gear and wire it for brake lights that way. For the rear you would have to be creative or leave just the front one as a brake light switch. Good luck

 

Might check with a Canadian dealer or one overseas where ATV's are street legal. Here's a link for Honda U.K.. The "A.M.V. kit" shows the brake light/turn signal setup.
