I agree with yellow650. I had my 03 rincon out yesterday(yeah i know i messed up a couple of weeks ago and said it was an 02) and was pulling some scary wheelies with it. There is no way a 16hp machine could launch like that with me on it. I am 6'9 and weigh 400+ pounds. From a dead stop, sitting normally on it and just punching the throttle, it would have flipped if i had held it. Gotta be more than 16hp there, no question about it.

 

My point exactly. And the fact that they came keep up with and smoke Grizzlys, P650s, SP700s.

I have no mods but I have noticed a slight increase in power since first purchasing my rincon. I can now sit in a regular riding position, punch it and the front end comes up WAY too easy. 16 horse NO-WAY

The shock covers on my 300ex bring it up to at least 50 horsepower...wait they are red...make that 60 hp!

 

Honda makes the most reliable machines on the market. To my knowledge, Honda is the only manufacturer that has Auomatic transmissions that dont run off of a belt and can be switced to manual shifting. I hear many people complain about belts slipping and shredding at about 25-30 hours. Also, Honda has great customer service. My neighbor has an 03' Rincon ad that thing smokes my Rancher 400. I have ridden it many times and I thik that there is no D*** way it only has 16 Hp at the wheels. Whoeve tested that has screwed up.

Hey man, welcome to ATV Connection. I'm just jerking your chain because I thought your logic was funny, saying that because a 650 beats a 400 it must have lots more HP than several different dyno test have shown that it has. I really have no idea how many HP your Rancher has.
