I'd like to know if this will fit. Has it been done? I understand that the 400ex and R frames are very similar. Would I need to make any changes? Thanks

 

just a question. Why do you want to put R plastic on a 400ex? Just buy a race front(with or with or without front fendrers depending on what you like) for an ex...with the plastics off each machine, you would be hard pressed to find a difference besides mouting holes.

 

The reason I would like R plastic on the Ex is that I'd like to have a tribute to the R. Gone but not forgotten, the R was a legend befor it's time, and is still ahead of it's time...........

 

well, anything is posible, you may have to break out the drill bits, and you may have to fabricate a few mounting brackets cause i dont know weather they will or wont bolt up.
