I know Elka already has something available for the new quad but I was wondering if any of the other brands will have shocks when it is released. The Elkas are pretty expensive at $1070 for the front and $775 for the rear. Thanks

 

A lot of companies will have shocks out pretty quick, but they may not have that much testing done on them. The 450Rs shocks can be revalved, and that may be your best bet if you need something quick.

 

Thanks recon, that is an option I might look into. What I'm wondering is if the stock 450 shocks will fit my 400ex. I've been meaning to upgrade its suspension for a while now but when I get the new bike I'm going to want to buy everything for it at one time so I can finance it. It would save a ton of money to only have to shell out cash for one bike and I'm sure the stock shocks on the 450 are a lot better than the ones on my ex.

 

I'd also check the length on the YFZ's new shocks - guys ripping them off before they have a ride on them and selling them for a couple hundred bucks! Might have to change bushings but that is a nice shock, cheap!
