today while I was putting my razr's on my 250r I was using a air impact and I strip one of the studs and nut out on the hub i have set of metric tap and dies but I need to know what ones to use if my dad finds out he will not be happy I am using a wrench from now on.


86 trx250r wiseco .20 piston,boyeson reeds,porting work,FMF gold series fatty pipe,power core 2 silencer,DG alloy series nerfs,white bro's white power shocks with fully adjustable res's all the way around,durablue eliminator,PEP easy pull clutch perch and lever,motion pro twist throttle,motion pro clutch cable,motion pro kill switch,21/7/10 holeshots on wide off set ITP .190 wheels,20/11/9 6 ply razr's on ITP .190 wheels,18/11/8 holeshot mx's on mitchell .190 wheels,nac's casesaver,uni filter,durablue posi loc axle nut,lsr triple row tapered bearing carrier,new a-arms and swing arm on the way.

uh, usually you want to thread the nut on a little bit by hand first so you know it threads on right, then use the air impact!

I DID ALRIGHT!!!!! I HAD THE AIR IMPACT SET TO HIGH. IT WILL BREAK ANYTHING TRUST ME.

I'm not sure of your exact situation after stripping the stud/nut..

Is the nut stuck on the stud? If so, hold the back of the stud with vicegrips and use a nutsplitter (you can get them at Home Depot). I'm not sure a large one will fit inside the hub but you might check.

If the nut is off, you can back the stud out with a hammer and put a new one in.

soory I yelled but anyway i ended up retaping the stud and re dieing the nut I mad it standard though becuase we didn't have the right metric tap but it works so I am happy.
