Yes

Move the clip up the needle which will move the needle further into the jet therefore less fuel

Not sure about a set up for a 416 as i dont have one but it Depends on lots of variables, pipe ,air intake, altitude, ect

try it one notch at a time and check your plug .

Before you start makes sure everything is ok ie clean air filter no collapsed boots on the intake or leaky ones for that matter.

also if it is to rich even at full throttle it will need another jet, needle does nothing much after 3/4

Hope this helps

Try going to a 40 pilot. I had a 42 in mine and couldn't get it right so I went back to a 40.

I do not have a choke on it. So if I switched the 42 pj to a 40 would it make it harder to start?

i am running an 11 compression 406, stage 2, x-6, filter, etc. and i am using a 158 main (airbox lid is on) 42 pilot 2 turns out on fuel skrew, and clip is in the 4th position on the needle. you say your running rich?? well, you could be rich with your pilot/fuel skrew, your needle, or your main. you can do a plug chop at idle, at 1/2 throttle, and at full throttle to see where your running rich at. i also say your too rich on your main. you won't be rich enough on the main for it to run like crap though, you just won't have quite the top end like it has potential for. how do you know your running rich?? is the plug really black?? where is your needle set at now??
