HELP!!!! Sand in '99 400EX Engine and Honda doesn't want to cover it under warranty!!

It did the same...locked up and shut down while going close to 40 mph. I checked everything, started it and then it "shreiked" and died.
A reference number would be GREAT!. I'll still try to get in touch with the DSM and then track down some info on an arbitrator.

It might help out here if all the Honda owners here E-mailed them about this, letting them know that we are watching this issue. I don't know how many ATV owners read this board, but we DO represent ALOT of repeat and possibly first time buyers.
It may turn out that it isn't a warranty issue, but they may hurry it up some.
