loss of speed

About a month ago I opened up my Quad and maxed out at 61mph. I took it out yesterday and it only hit 49mph. Where did my speed go., Thanks It is a Suzuki Vinson 500 auto.

is it in low gear??.... lol did you make ne changes to it since you maxed it out at 61?? 12mph is a huge differance.

Take it to a service place and have them check it out it will only cost a few $ and they'll fix it for you my recon does that sometimes. If you have more weight on it it will also slow down.
