I was looking at the Maxxis sur traks. I ride mostly on gravel roads, sand, mud and in woods. I am not concerned with performance qaround a track... has anyone had experience with the 22 inchers? how will it affect my stock gearing? Are they a long lasting tire?

for a good all around tire, and will last you a long time. the [red]MAXIS ALL TRACK[/red] is the only way to go. i have had mine on 3 different quads now and have not put a plug in them yet, and there still going strong. i have tried other tires, well i guess thats all i have to say.

Don't know bout the Maxxis but I use 13/39 for trail with 22" XCT'S . This gearing comb is not hard on the motor for 20" tires try 14/38.
