WoW, that's quite a few modifications on your signature list. The previous owner spent the bucks on this quad and yes they are excellent quads to start out on but from your list this doesn't appear to be a beginners quad.

Holly Cow, that 250X has had a face lift. It looks like a Raptor

It looks good

I can't see in those pictures the rear brake caliper, OMG it has no rear brake.

Oh well who needs to stop

What's the stock gearing on the 250X .... that gearing seems pretty tall to me. Hope those mods bang out some torque and horses for ya!! My cousin has a 250X of the same year and he loves it. He weighs in at around 230-240 probably .. his is pretty much bone stock except for a dg bumper and a 12T front sprocket. He's looking into getting a 350X motor to swap in .. it's a very reliable quad. He's not easy on it by any means .. we were hill climbing this fall (well, he was hill climbing, I was busy trying to work up my never to do what he was doing .. never did get the ball$).

If you look in my pics you can see one of me jumping up out of a pit with a dog to the left .. the upper lip of the pit has an indent with a steep drop from there. We took a shovel and shoved some dirt down over the hill to make it less vertical and more straight ... the sand there is really soft, so me and my cousin went to the bottom and started running up part way to pack the sand down .. On one pass my cousin came up a bit farther and his hand slipped from the clutch side .. the tires dug into the soft sand and the machine tumbled back end over end twice before landing upside down in the bottom of the pit. My cousin is quick for a fat little fella and got out of harms way quickly. He slid down the hill, turned the bike right-side up, gave it a couple of kicks and it started right back up!! We continued making the hill rideable and then he and one of his friends who has a banshee started climbing. On the top of the pit there is just enough room to comfortably run two quads side by side .. the other face of the pit is a 50+ foot vertical drop into the next pit. We're working towards having the two pits such that you can ramp up the near side (about 25 - 30') over the gap and touch down on the downslope of the other pit .. the other pit has to become a good bit less vertical though!!!
