Default 440 light problems

My built 440 has a stage II hotcam and a revbox(wb) in it. The first time I rode it at night it blew a fuse. First fuse since I bought it in 98. I replaced it and ran again. This time the light would start flickering and sometimes motor would sputter going at top rpm's. What do I need to do. When my 4 wheeler was stock and I put the rev box in it, it ran very week. My ride was lacking a little in the power department ever since it was new compared to all my friends 400's, but, never worried about cause it didn't show on the track or woods, just drag racing. The 440 runs very strong without light on though, even with rev box on it. What do I need to do? need some help ..........please. I dont think its the rev limit because it doesn't do it without light on.

Default 440 light problems

check your electrical system for shorts, starting where the wires go into te headlight assembly.
