400ex or rancher

well the dirt bikes try to stay out of the mud, the warrior do too, the z400 doesn't care he will go through anything(or at least try to), and goes fairly good for it to have bald tires.
What I am worried about is that the ex doesn't have reverse so I can't rock it if it gets stuck, and the low ground clearence.

The ex aint got reverse or aint got liquid cooling so if you decide to get a sport get a Z400 or KFX400. I would reccomend the rancher if there is alot of mud where you ride. You can have much more fun.

Big mud?....................Rancher 4x4! Big fun?......................400EX!
With a little experience you can take the EX a lot of places but .............................if your riding places are more technical than anything else then you might like the Rancher4by more...........

I would go with the 400ex over the rancher anyday, besides, if you do go muddin' and get stuck, get one of your buddies with 4x4s to winch you out. I think you would regret getting a warrior since it doesnt have that fun factor that the 400ex has unless ALL you do is mud.

It depends on the type of riding you will be doing. I bought a 400ex two years ago and Im going to get rid of it for a rancher. I have always loved sport bikes. But here were i ride you really need a 4x4. I put some mud tires on my ex, but Im sick of having to hold up everyone else, why i get pulled out of the mud. So i guess you have to answer this question.

i would go for the rancher because if you have summer by where you live...the 400Ex is geared to fast and you would be stuck everywhere...and there is no reverse

Right now i have a rancher es...it wasnt bad...if u want a quad for climbing i would say go wiht the 400ex but if you want a quad for like trails and just taking daily rides about 5 miles away the rancher is good. right now im sellin my rancher so i can buy a yamaha warrior. if u want the rancher, ill sell u mine. its in good candition.but if i were u i would go with the 400ex.my friend just sold his and he said that it wsa the greatest investment he made.
