Man, talk about bringing up some memories... I grew up on a '86 200sx. Literally. It was a daily driver on the farm for YEARS. I wish that thing had an odometer or hourmeter- I think I'd have a candidate for "most used quad." It was bought new in '87 when I was five, and it's sitting in the old shop now with the engine apart- my cousin burned it up a little over a year ago. It had been rebuilt once, in about 1994. It hadn't had brakes since about 1996, when the front ones quit. The rear brake stopped working sometime in the early ninties. We could never keep a chain on it- talk about a crappy adjusting system. Despite that, the engine case is original and uncracked to this day. It always did run like a champ, and would go anywhere. I think it's also the same engine they used on the Fat Cat. Those were great bikes... but that's a whole new subject!
