First of all, I don't think Honda wants to try and compete with a ds650. My dealership hasn't sold one for a long time. Second, why would you want a quad that will be 30-50 pounds heavier and realisticly, at best, 2-5 more horsepower or so than a 450r. How many people out there that have owned a crf450r and xr650r would choose the 650r over the 450. Displacement is not everything. The 450 is better in every way but maybe for long distance desert racing.
