Default 2001 Rancher Question

I just bought a 2001 Rancher S 4X4 and I was wondering if it has the heated carb feature on it? I didn't get a manual, and I have heard of this feature on some Honda's and was wondering if it was standard in 2001. If it does, how does it work?

Just turn on the key for a couple minutes before you start the machine cold. It also has a fuel primer button, for cold (New Brunswick) weather. Also, the choke cable tends to freeze up in cold weather, if it has any moisture in it. Do a search for some fixes.

Yeah, I used the primer button last night (pushed 5 times), but it still took like 15 pulls to get it going (battery was dead), but it was -40 Farenheit with the windchill last night, and it hadn't been running since November according to the guy I bought it from. Thanks guys, I'll leave the key on for a bit next time I start it up!
