I ordered an ATV power kit from dennis kirk and it comes with a dyno jet jet kit a k&n air filter and a prefilter. It should be there when i get home form school today. But i cant figure out what a prefilter is can anyone help me

 

Probably it is an Outerwears. In the old days, we use to put panty hose over our filters, to catch the big stuff. Outerwears came along and made something even better! It is a nylon "bag" that goes over top you K&N, and it will catch the big stuff, and leave your filter to deal with only the little stuff. I say "never run a K&N without an Outerwears!!!".
