Default Is the extended warranty worth it?

I just bought a new rincon and didnt get the extended warranty. Have any of you used your warranty? I use my atvs hard, but im not abusive. I like to think that the honda sticker on the side is my peace of mind that the warranty would give me. Am I asking for trouble? Give me some input.

Like yourself, I think my Rincon will be a great machine, but I also had some concerns about the reliability of the new tranny. I am sure it would cost an arm and leg to have work done on it. Also, with all the electronics, I wanted to be reassured, so I purchased the extended warranty. Most of the dealers I checked with wanted close to $600. I purchased the additional 42 month one from Garvis Honda in Iowa for $299. Supposedly, it was a Nov. special. If you are interested, give them a call at 1-800-358-5508. Kevin McKinney is the business manager. Give them a call and see what you can work out with them. It is like any insurance policy. It is worthless until you need it. If everyone had an extended warranty these boards would be alot slower.
