Hey peeps, this is the question, what is better 400ex or rappy? I have a 250ex but i want to get a bigger quad in about a years time. I think they are both very nice quads and i would buy both if i was bill gates but im not! lol. Im 5'8 about 150lbs and have been riding since i was 10 i am now 16, so i have had quite alot expirience. Heres what im looking for:
Reliability
Speed
Looks

I just want a few opinions guys, so if you have something to say, please, go ahead and say it. Thanks in advance for any feed back and happy new yr!

 

Reliability-400ex
Looks-Raptor
Speed-both are quick
handling-400ex
quality/worksmanship-400ex
I would personally go with the 400ex. Mod's and parts are cheaper. Plus you don't feel that much of a difference in power unless you pipe the raptor.

 

reliability- dont know no probs with my raptor yet but i hear 400ex is very reliable
speed- raptor,this ones a no brainer and is the reason why a ex is so reliable,its slow
looks -raptor imo but i think ex looks ok
handling- 400ex raptor is meant to be tippy but i cant feel it and the reason for good handling on the ex is because its slow

 

thats wrong, a raptor can smoke a 400ex...lol look at the cc comparison sumwut 200 cc...i'd have to say get the raptor, the new 04 ones dont have problems..

 

jump on a 400ex, then jump on a raptor. There isn't that much of a difference in power. I keep right up with my buddy's and 3 of them have raptors.

 

yes, i agree, but i would look at a predator cause they r relaible, look great, faster than a 400, good handling and preformes great!!!!!!

 

I also liked the KFX700 V Force alot, but was gutted to find out that they are not releasing it in the UK [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I was told by the person at the Honda dealership that the 400ex was very fast, and said that that was better than the rapter, but he isnt a hardcore rider like you guys. does anyone know the actual speeds for both machines?

 

GET A 400EX, you will be happyer, i can beat crapters on my 400

...u guys are such nubs, a stock 400ex cannot beat a stock raptor...wow a raptor tops like 72 stock or idk, a 400ex goes like 67..raptors i no have had lots of problems. Well dont get a v-force aka grass hopper, they tend to wheelie alot, =ing crashes..if u would spend that much why not get a z400/kfx400 i have a kfx400 n 400ex and my brother got a raptor, his raptor is modded to hell, it beats my kfx400 which only has a pipe, jet stage 1, and k&n

 

lol nubs???? if you look at my profile you will know why i can beat a stock raptor, there not that fast for being a 660....
