Default New 450R? Where?

I mistyped, I meant will it out excellerate a YFZ450 to the first turn of a race. They talk about tractable power, what is that supposed to mean? Is the 450R down on power compared to the YFZ? Of course the mags are going to rave about it, Honda pays them to hype their machine. Just as Yamaha does, but Yamaha wasn't talking trash with the YFZ. It IS a really good machine! This long term release thing is losing a lot of customers to Yamaha, when Honda could be making millions on people who aren't brand loyal. Yamaha keeps racking wins at the races and in the process winning new customers while Honda seems to be dragging their feet. And to the person who made the wise crack about a New yorker riding an 04' DS Baja on trails, you obviously don't know the first thing about DS's. They make GREAT all around machines. It's only about one total inch wider than the YFZ or Raptor or the 450R for that matter. Besides what is the first thing racers do to their quads to race them? suspension and wider A-arms. Well, Well, the 04' DS Baja X already has those. So what was your point? No reverse? Neither does the 450R, Yfz, 400ex all of which were touted as excellent woods machines. Another claimed excellent woods machine is the 700 V-force which has about the same dimensions as the 04' DS, so again whats your point or argument? I have absolutely NO problem staying to the front of the pack with any machine in any condition, as usually I am leading them.

"uncle that has a field management position in a company named HONDA"

That's my uncle guys...hehe...my uncle works for honda..IF YOU DID NOT READ MY SIG ALREADY...

But I know for a FACT, (wink, wink) that honda likes to take time to get a GREAT reliable quad. Not have tons of problems. Alot of people here think that the sulusion for a problem is to build a bigger and a better quad. NO! Honda thinks defrently. As well as I do also. So that's why honda is taking so long.

Honda like to have a NICE LOOKING, rurf looking, nice driving, high stilein', high saftey, roblem free: quad.

:::CASE CLOSED:::

^^^(for me any way)^^^^

:::GOD BLESS:::

Thats right motox, I am a leader not a follower, thats why I bought a Bomb. I also presume you are the same type of person, because of your 440 kit you were probabally sick of following everybody with the slow stock machine you used to have. Now take your little Browneye, er, Buckeye self to the dealer and plunk down your cash for a deposit on a 450R so you can claim along with every other little teenage boy how fast your new 450R is going to be WHEN you get it.

Clay, if you really did get to ride the 450R you are a very lucky individual. I don't recall honda having a factory or headquarters in Alabama, but anything is possible. Besides, the first 450R's sent to dealers for sale are, according to Honda reps, supposed to be delivered to Ohio, Follwed by Michigan. No definite date set according to the reps though. I also don't think your uncle would let you take a serious ride on the 450R due to you being a kid and his job on the line if you wrecked the factory demo.
