Default New Valve Springs for 400ex?

Aight, I have a 2000 400ex. I'm in the process of putting a wiseco 440 big bore kit in it. I also have bought a hotcams stage 2 cam for it. I have all the other small things, FMF, K&N, Jets, etc... Anyway, someone told me that b/c of the cam i am putting in it that i will need some longer?/tighter? valve springs or else put some shims under them to make them longer. Can anyone tell me if this is true? If i need new valve springs? Anyone else use a Hotcams stage 2 with the wiseco 440? Where can i order these valve springs from? what kinda should i get? Give me some input.

Hot cams are designed to be "drop in" cams.. you do not need any other valve train components

you will not get the fuul potential out of your cam without springs. It would be the smarter thing to do especially if you don't want to have to bust in there and change your springs in 50HRS so best to do it right the first time. Like I said you will also get the full potential out of your stage2 cam. I recommend a chromoly springs. R/D is supposed to make a nice reliable set.
