i am 15 and ride a 300ex currently and i was thinkin about sellin it and getting a 2004 cr85c.other than it being a bike how big of a change will it be?

well the biggest difference is the speed, the cr85r is a 2 stroke, making it alot faster, and its also lighter..hope you rode a dirtbike before, if not try a beginners bike like a xr200 or somethin...

no dude speed isnt diffrent my 300ex keeps up with my friends kx85 bored to 105 with pipe and silencer and reeds.the power just come way diffrent thats all

.....a stock cr85r can beat a 300ex...wow i mean come on I supercrossed for 9 years man..gimme a break

a cr85 will put an @ss whoopin on a stock 300ex. the bike has more horsepower and weighs around 200 pounds less. not even a race.

ive rode dirtbikes before and a cr85 will dust a 300ex.what do yall think the top speed on cr85 or kx85 are?

most of them will top out around 61-63 mph...but if you pipe it, that makes it top speed of near 64-67mph

i test ride everything at our dealer,
that little cr85r is pretty bad a$$ for its size.

When I first got my YZ 80 I didn't expect it to be so fast and snappy. My cousin thought he had a chance on my 250 recon... Like Roostthrower said... Not even a race.
Most people underestimate 80cc MX bikes. They're fast as hell and can be nice to you or can lay some smackdown on your ***.
PS Maintence is going to be a lot more than your 300ex. Just a heads up.
