A lot of 400EX guys are selling thiers and upgrading to the newer 450s. I almost sold mine, and decided to take it up to a 440 instead. For the first time I am really really happy with it. If you find an inexpensive 400EX thats in fairly good shape, consider a good 440 kit - you'll be happy you did.

I would get a 400 ex.....you can get a new one for that money now if you shop around.

 

hey i live round lima ohio...i have seen many quality 400 goin for about 3300-3600 with a pipe and nerf bars...spend bout 4000 and there will definately be some bigger mods with them....

or search the classifieds...many dealers also post in the auto rv forms and will have warrenties on some...
friend just picked up a flawless 400 with bars and pipe for 3600........shouldnt be too hard to find one...
