Default Any sledders here?

Guys I know this is off topic, but I'm not really driving my quad right now as there is too much snow outside. I just got my skidoo all tuned up and when we unloaded it from the truck last night, the front end caught a piece of the bumper and part of the hook snapped off. Now there's a hole in the front end. The sled drove perfectly last night but when I went to drive it today, it wouldn't runv ery well at all, in fact I didn't get to drive it at all. It sounds ilke 1 cylinder is missing sometimes. I'm thinking that snow got under the hood last night and it froze overnight and today and is causing problems.

It's a 1989 Formula Mach 1 583 btw. Any suggestions?

ive never had a sled but if there anything like quads (motor wise) it might have something in one of the carbs.

The engine can't idle becuase it'll stall. WE just got it back from the dealer, but we broke a piece on the cab/hood and that probably let all the snow in and froze some of the engine overnight.

It's a 2-stroke...gas and oil are mixed together.

Anyways, it wasn't running properly today and for no reason at all, it began to "pur like a kitten" lol.

Coil got wet, or water in the gas. Put some gasline antifreeze in the gas, it will absorb the water and dry out the coil.

You should always keep a small bottle of gas line antifreeze on your machine. Filling from gas cans often lead to water in the gas which can leave you stranded with a bad running machine.

We put some of that stuff in and it runs like a beast now (like it should ). However, it's not idling too well and the pull chord is going (we just got it fixed too).
