all right if my 300 was bored to 385 with a hot cam and mild poret job with titanium valve springs lightned flywheel new rockers and hinson clutch with my mods below what else would i need to keep up with one.dot say i cant because i have seen it before.at the mx track they raced on and off track on track z400 won but off they draged and the 300ex won by a couple lengths

Going to take a lot to get a 300ex to keep up with a z400, must well beat it.

 

billet gas cap?!??! wtf are you smokin???? the only way you're gonna bet a z400 is if you get a graphics kit and maybe a new set of grips.

 

I have both a Z, and a 300EX, and I don't see the Honda keeping up with a piped, and jetted Z in a drag.

Of course rider ability comes into play quite a bit, especially on a track...Might have a chance there, if the Z rider was a noob.

 

ya, that would keep up with a stock Z!!!!

 

make sure it's a k&k graphics kit w/ renthal grips...that combo with throw out some serious hp!!
