Actually it's less, way less than a $100.00 for power on the YFZ.
Cam mod = Free, 60 minutes taking your time and anyone could do it.
Pull the pea shooter = Free, 75% power of a full pipe...
Jetting/needle = Less than $20.00 and another 30 minutes of your time...
Case closed, almost 50HP on tap. Has to be an all time record for "reversable" power.

Unfortunately I was unable to dyno, a Yamaha grenaded just ahead of me and tied up the machine.

Well congrats. To answer somebodys question about west coasters. The distribution facility for honda is in Torrence California. They all get shipped from there. I am not sure where its made, I think S.C. I could not find it on mine.
I will be out at the dunes this weekend. There will be YFZ's there so be patient. But let me give you a preview: The Yamaha is a little faster, they weigh the same, the Honda is a little more comfortable, on longer rides, maybe handles a LITTLE better.
I have mine in pieces, its fun to tear apart a brand new quad, with 5 mins on it. It will be ready to go tomorrow after work.
