trx350fm
#1
I am a newbie to quads and was very happy to see a forum where one can get advice/help.
I have just bought a honda trx350fm and would like some advice over conecrns I have with the bike:-
1. recommended tyre pressures are 3.6 to 4 psi - are these a practical figure or not?
2. all electrical components seem to be wide open to water, dirt and dust - does this cause any problems? I noticed on a Kawasaki that
they are better concealed from the wheel arch area than on the Honda.
3. are there any hints or useful advice you guys can give me regarding this particular ATV - any dos or do nots?
Any comments appreciated!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Honda! 3-4psi is about right for tire pressure. I would reccomend getting rid of those stock tires if you do a lot of trail or off road riding--go up to something with 6 ply. As far as all your plugs go, I think you are talking about the ones at the p/s rear inner fender that go to your CDI I believe. I moved mine on my 450 to the inside of the fender. I also sealed every plug that I could find with dielectric grease-including the sparkplug boot. That is a good way to keep your connections from corroding and preventing any problems. DO NOT put Synthetic oil in your engine. That is the only don't that I can think of.
