Default rancher clutch problem

Hello all, I love all the information on this board, but could not find the info I needed this time. I have a 05 honda rancher trx350fm 4x4. The shift is manual with my foot and has no hand clutch. Now the problem I have is that if I am going down a large hill, the quad will jump out of gear and free roll. If I hit the throttle, the quad will jump back into gear. This almost got me into a bad jam the other day and time to fix!!! I am going to try adjusting the clutch and change the oil, but any one know what else to do??? I will be javelina in two weeks and really don't have time for dealer. Thanks in advance, Dennis

had the issue myself kind of free rolls, even shifting gears does nothing unless you rev the motor. problem is the one way sprag clutch, mine worked itself out. try an engine flush, my motor was pretty dirty

thanks for the info, I just changed oil a couple of months ago, but used regular car oil, gonna go get some honda oil and do a flush and see what that does.
