Does anyone have a Yoshimura exhaust for a 400ex or any quad for that matter. It was the best 4 stroke pipe for a yz426. Has anyone tested one? I would like to know how they perform.

 

Dont know if this helps any but i ALWAYS ran one on my Street Bikes. GSXR 750 , FZR 1000 , CBR900 . I wouldnt buy anything else for the road. Not sure what thier off-road pipes are like but I would only assume they are good also !

 

My friend has one and I have one on order. We both have 2000 400ex's. It is the highest quality pipe I have ever seen! The pipe went on very easy and fit perfect. It sounds great! Rev's alot faster then stock. I don't think it would be a good pipe for a full race quad, but it made the stock 400 wake up!!!

 

Santa...how much louder is the Yoshimura pipe when compared to the stock setup? Also, is it spark arrestor equipped?

 

The pipe is much louder then stock and has a much deeper sound. It's about the same as the WB-E with 12 disk.

 

You can get a spark arrestor for $89.99 when you order your pipe. We did not order one so I dont know if it will change the sound or performance.
