My wife is all up and down my a$$. She wants me to wear a helmet. I always use to wear a helmet on my dirtbike years ago but now I've slowed down a bit. None of my friends wear helmets, we use our four wheelers for hunting and such. Fast for me is about 40 mph now instead of the 120 mph I used to do. I don't mind wearing a helmet one bit, I just wanted to know what you guys thought. Do you wear a helmet or not?????

Speed really isn't the issue; ruts and dips can appear out of nowhere, and dump you on your a$%. My buddy suffered a badly bruised kidney in a low-speed crash, and I recently fractured a rib. Could have easily been our heads instead.

 

wear a freakin helmet man. ive seen way too many injurys to tell you not to wear one

 

i dont when im jus ridin around a lil bit but if im actually out ridin for more the 2 minutes i normally wear one

 

After watching a guy land his sled on top of another at sno-cross u start to love your helmet. The belly pan got him in the back of the head, i no your hunting buddy probably won't land on you but i wear a helmet for even riding 50's becuase thats when i crash most, If your just hunting try at least a open face something thats not in the way.

 

Sounds like your wife really loves you and wants you to be around a long time. Do you really need anymore of a reason then that?

 

If you're the type of guy that used to do 120 on a dirt bike (which one would do 120 anyway?) you definitely need a helmet. Please.
