i think both of these machines are equally good...i think it just comes down to what your favorite color is, red or blue/white

 

that's what im asking myself right now. I go to the dealer tomorrow to look at the one that I ordered and may buy it. i have first shot at it. but i gotta tell you, i can get a sweeter deal on a yfz.

 

The 450R will accept mods better than the YFZ. I mean accept as in perform better with the same mods.

Hondas are pretty de-tuned from the factory, so there's a lot of room for improvement.

stevendsm95gst for President!!!!!!! In keeping with stevendsm95gst's honesty, the 450R is a kick start and just a hair slower than the YFZ. The decision should really be made based upon price, quality, riding style, ergos, performance. Both are awesome quads which will meet riders needs differently.

Heck you may even want to consider the Z400 or KFX400. Not as fast, but electric start, comfy, reverse, handling, cheaper, liquid cooled, etc and can be modded with great success. I like the 400ex, but the new 400s (Z and KFXare a cut above in power, technology and features.

 

I went to my local dealer today and they recieved a 450r this morning but it was already sold and gone...the dealer said that they expect to recieve another by next saturday and he told me he would call me when it came in..looks like im getting one[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
