Hello Odysseyjunk,
Here's what I know about the 450r (which is'nt a lot, just from reading articles and posts), I also have one ordered, just waiting for arrival.
HP (stock) 34-36 (using stock tires on the dyno) - see HMF Exhaust Systems
Torque is supposed to be awesome.
Stock exhaust is very restrictive, need aftermarket exhaust system.
Top speed (stock) ? You can change the gearing to accomplish top end speed and give up low end torque, or gain low end torque and give up top end speed. Your choice, depending on your type of racing or riding you do. Motor is strong enough to accomodate a taller gear, which the gearing is tall (1st gear anyway) in stock form.
I might be interested in your skid plate for the chassis, I bought one for the 450r, but I have a 400ex that my wife is riding and racing this year (see photos) that I would be interested in for it. Let me know the cost, thanks.
I hope this info in helpfull.

Hey Quadfather,
I have family up in Akron, Ohio, do you race mx your way? Have you seen any 450r's at your dealerships, or heard of any? My wife and I goto Akron 3-4 times a year between our race weekends to ride with our cousins. Sometimes we also goto the Rumble on the Ridge (have you heard of it), it just 1.5 hours south of you near Tappan Lake. If you know of any good MX parks your way, let me know, I would like to check them out when we visit next. Thanks.

Tim

I don't race motoX. I'm more of a wekend warrior, casual rider. Me and my buds ride local trails, a couple of local pay places, and get a few group rides down at Wayne national Forest a couple of times a year. The local dealers say any day on the 450R. I have seen one in person. Kames down in Canton had one of Tim Farrs Rs sitting in their store. It seemed awfully small, and didn't seem to fit my likings well. Before I had seen it in person, I actually went to a dealer to get on the waiting list, and put a deposit down on one, but ended up sitting on a Kawasaki V Force, kicking the tires, then buying one.
The only MX track I know of close by is Battlesburg MX. It is a short ride from the Elson Street ATV park.
I have heard of the Rumbles, and plan on attending one soon. Seems like fun.
