where can i buy a nice possibly modded 250r around central cali...or anywhere in cali..and how much do they go for...around 5 grand i would imagine...maybe 7

You'll find they will vary widely in price, depending on where you live. Check prices and quads on www.cycletrader.com. Now that all the new 4 strokes are here, the prices on the R's have dropped quite a bit. Another place to find used R's is www.atvscene.com. If you've got $5K to spend, you'll get a pretty nice R!
