Rancher AT is the 450R of the Utility Quads
I am not a quad racer, I am just thinking more people who like utility Quads would do themselves a service and buy the Rancher AT.
I think many utility quad owners would be very excited to own the Rancher AT as the Racers, and trail riders are the 450R.
Go Honda......Go Right.....

I chose the Rancher AT because of it's 400 engine, selectable 2/4wd and it fits in the back of my Toyota Tacoma. I am very pleased at the size and power that it has. I haven't even hit the top speed in it yet - but probably will when it warms up outside and my face won't freeze with that perpetual grin you get when riding.

I almost got the Rancher AT over the Foreman ES, it was a close battle. The deciding factor for me was I wanted a conventional transmission, not an auto or CVT. That and the Foreman has a little more motor, a little more tire, and a little more ground clearance.
Glad you are happy though, you will not be disappointed.

For pushing snow the Rancher AT is great. I usually push snow in ESP 1st gear. But when I get stuck, I just put it in automatic, get off the bike and stand beside it. I give it a small amount of gas either forward or in reverse and it walks right out. No scooping no shoveling, and I am not hurting the bike at all. Would be hard with a manual transmission to do this trick. Just my two cents worth.

The AT is overpriced IMHO. Before I would pay $6000 for the AT I would buy a Foreman S for less $$.
Bigger motor, manual shift, much more of a workhorse. If they cut the price of the AT by $1000 they would
sell them faster than they could make them.

They are advertising the Rancher AT for 5200.00 here in Nebraska. The price was higher when the interest rate through Honda was lower. I am sure the other bikes are great also. Just was not interested in one with a Radiator and coolant. Was not excited about a manual shift.
I hope everyone is happy with the unit they pick. Nothing worse than buyers remorse. Good Riding to all

The Foreman S is a stud. We have a 98' Fourtrax 300 4X4 and it's definetly the toughest utility I've ever seen. We deer hunt with it every year, and on the coldest mornings, it will start right up. Definetly happy with the Honda Utility's....but can't say the same for the sport quads. Just not enough speed and hp.
