TIRE SELCTION FOR RINCON?
Looking for some recommendations for tire selections on a 03 Rincon. I use the machine year round in snow, sand, and mud.

You may look into the ITP Holeshot ATRs. People say they are a GREAT trail tire and do awesome in the snow. I am sure they aren't the best mud tire, but it depends on how much mudding you do. Ask around about em if your interested. I am going to get them for my Rinny soon.

TIRE SELCTION FOR RINCON?
Hey Sandman,
I've put ITP 589's on my 450 Foreman and thought they where great, then I bought this Rincon and put ITP 589's on it and I must tell you, these tires are awsome in the snow and even better in the mud. I can't say how they are in the sand because there isn't much sand in the part of the state that we ride in.Good luck ,there's alot of tires to choose from.

There are many tires available and all have advantages and disadvantages. 589's are excellent in mud but very slippery on hard surfaces like pavement or concrete. In snow they can bury you as much as they can help, depending on the depth and condition of the snow. A tire like the ATR is a more versatile all-around tire. You give up extreme traction in mud, but have better traction on rocky hillclimbs. The mudlites are a great snow tire but their soft rubber compound is a killer if you ride on rocks. They get chewed up rather quickly. But the soft rubber is great on ice. As you can see, each tire accells in different areas. I have a Rincon and run stock tires. Which I may replace with ATR when they wear. In the winter I run a second set of stocks w/ wheels that are studded with car stud. I run the rears at 3.5 psi. I do very well in the snow with them. When they wear I may get the Mudlites. In the spring I run my ever faithful, never let me down, ITP 589m/s. Great tire in the slick stuff. The reason I don't like them in the snow, besides the hard rubber compound, is the power they rob. They are a heavy tire, but the traction is excellent.
