Well this past weekend I delivered the DS650 to the guy who bought it. This morning I called the place where i bought my DS650 last year and to my surprise they had one in and it didnt have a deposit on it. They also had two power up kits in stock so I'm having them put that in before I pick it up on friday. The reason im picking it up on friday is because I'm at college right now and can't bring it home til then. I wouldve just saved the money and put the power up kit in by myself but they are only charging me 30$ labor. The salesman told me they had numerous people come in interested in it but couldnt get the money right away, I got lucky there. It looks awesome in person but not a whole lot different from the pics I've seen. I was wondering how the seat was going to feel but I think it feels perfect, not to hard, not to soft. It just makes me mad when i look outside and theres over a foot of snow on the ground. Oh well, Ill be happy even if its in the garage. Cant wait to take it out. I'll have pics for you guys friday.

Are the 450r's still hard to find in some places? I was at my local dealer this weekend and they 10 450r's on the floor and only 1 of them was sold. They said they another shipment coming in this weekend...

 

Well i heard some people on other forums still havent gotten theres in yet. I live in 4X4 country, you dont see many sport atvs. The dealers around here dont stock up on the sport atvs as much as other places. I kind of expected my dealer to have gotten one already but I didnt think it would still be in. The salesman told me they arent getting another one in for awhile. Im probably one of the first people to have on in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, i know im the first in this county anyways.

I drove by two Honda dealerships in Mississippi this past weekend and both of them had one on the showroom floor. One dealer was in Greenville, MS (or maybe it was Leland, MS) and the other was in Starkville.

It was neat to see them in person. Good looking machines!

 

Ive got a question, what is the MSRP for the HRC kit? I thought i heard people saying $300, but looking at my receipt they charged me $350 (without install). If its $300, do you know where i can find the price on the internet so i can show him. I feel like hes trying to get some more money out of me. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

You are getting a better deal than I am, they are charging me 241 to install the kit. The price of the kit was 300 though. Oh well, it's warrantied that way......

Even at the $30 labor and a 50 overcharge, that doesn't sound like to bad of a deal. Here's a link that shows msrp at 319.

I guess $30 isnt enough to cry over but when i asked him first how much they were he said, "$300... i think...". Then i went over and sat down with him while he found the price but he didnt tell me. I just dont know if he thought i wouldnt notice or maybe he just wrote it down wrong. I'll mention it to him when i pick it up, thanks for the link.
