im considering breaking down my 400 and having the frame powder coated.
i also would like to pollish as many parts as i can handle.
how long would it take to break it down and build it back.
i know none of u can tell me exactly, seeing how ur not me. but a good estimate would be cool. im fairly mechanically inclined.

 

When I took my quad apart it only taken about 4 to 5 hours. Most of my time was spent on the swingarm and engine bolt and my a-arms from the spindles. Going back together was a little longer since I made sure my bolt holes were free of sand and paint, and also I lock thread on some bolts and anti-seeze on some others. For polishing parts, I am not sure I did not do that.
