..will be in "my page" when ever they get approved so check back on that.

Finally i got to hear it run and ride it. Its about 15 degrees outside, took me three kicks to get it running thats after taking it out of a non heated garage. I stalled it a couple times taking off, totally different from riding a DS650, touchier clutch. I used to ride a 98 cr250 before my DS and i think it kicks a tad bit harder then the 250. I think it might get easier after it gets broken in, keep in mind i only weigh 150 lbs but had no problems starting it. As many of you DS guys know the DS's first gear is super low, i never used it, the 450r's first gear is super high. I only got to ride it down my snow packed road cuz theres about two feet of snow on the ground but the stock tires hooked up great. You can definetly tell its going to be a screamer when i finally get to ride it on the trails. Theres barely any clouds in the sky and when i parked it in the sun and looked at it, it looked awesome.. it was glowing! Now i just gotta wait for the snow to melt to give it a good ride. Congrats on the new quad. My only complaint was the tall first gear. It is really to tall for trail riding, but you will find that out shortly. It is an easy fix and pretty cheap as well. You can change out the front sprocket to a CRF450 front sprocket. The CRF450 is a 13 tooth and you will have gobs of low end torque after making the change. Throttle response is greatly improved, now it feels like it should have when I first got it. It is scary strong now. The 450R is awesome. the only thing that i dont like about it is it has no reverse, i mean that would be ok for a racer but for those of us who like to trail ride the reverse is a must. just my 2 cents.

Well i just got in from riding it. My dad mustve rode the snowmachine around our backyard a couple days ago (its pretty big) so i followed that. I got stuck once cuz i went off the trail, took me like 10 seconds to get it out, the thing is so light. Its alot different then the DS, so its going to take me awhile to get used to it, but i love it so far.

My thumb throttle had alot of slack, probably almost a have inch of nothing. So i listened to you guys and adjusted it. I just removed that rubber boot and unscrewed the cable out and it tightened it right up (i left a tad bit of play). Thats the way you guys are doing it right?

I was sitting out in the driveway with it and some dude i didnt even know came over to look at it. He was smiling the whole time.. lol. He says he rides a predator.

It does have reverse you just gotta roll the front tires backwards with your feet.. I had to do that a couple times today, its not a quick way... but no biggie for me.

yea it is alot lighter than DS. also i good pair of snow tires would help out alot if its going to be snowing for a while where u live.
