polarisfreak- I'll run that by my friend and see if he wants to go as well. I was considering going to Little Sahara, OK that weekend. But my plans aren't set in stone. I'll PM you next week and let you know either way. Thanks.

I gotta say it gets old having everyone flame off on each other. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? Seriously though I have alot of respect for Yamaha, Polaris, Kawasaki & of course Honda. I will probably always be a loyal honda owner. They make a great solid product that is very reliable. I won't say they make the best bike or the fastest bike out there. I will say they make the best bike for me & my piece of mind. So how about we show a little respect for each others opinions. You can disagree without slamming a guys for his or her beliefs. I love my 400ex & would love to get the new 450r no doubt. Would I be just as happy on a yfz450? Probably but I'll still end up with the new honda when I can afford it? Anyway I hope I'm not starting a flame here. We can get honest results from people that they see. Yes there are always alot of variables within each race. A good rider will beat me any day on a comprable if not slower quad. Heck I ride for fun & can admit I'd get smoked by plenty of other riders. Well I'll shut up now

Fastlane...take your 300ex and go back to your yard and play. Because you can't even begin to keep up with any 1/2 way decent quad.
Does making fun of what a 15-year-old can afford make you feel tough or special?? Just wondering, because it seems to make you very happy, don't get too excited there @$$hole!

Pizza914- You are right on the money. I find that I too get a little carried away now and then. Sometimes it takes a little while to recognize the errors of my way though....

low430- I would have to say that I agreed with your comment, except for the last part which appeared to be a little judgemental. Your point is well taken though.

this isnt gonna help out the argument much but thought I would put my .02 in as well. I just returned from Dumont dunes. I had the chance to race 3 450R's. I somewhat easily beat 2 of them(4 or 5 lengths) not bad considering my mods. I talked to the 2 riders and they told me they had the HRC kits. The other bike I lost to by about 1 to 2 lengths. He also said the only mods he had was the HRC kit. I would like to say they all 3 were running haulers and I run piece 'O shat turbo paddles that are missing alot of the paddle.

Now on the other foot. A friend of mine has a YFZ. When he was stock, I was able to beat him by about 3 lengths. After he put a pipe (Big Gun) on he would beat me by 2 lengths consistently.

as for bias or loyalty......yes, I own only Yamahas but that is only because that is what my kids wanted. No I am not the best rider out there and no, I dont have the fastest bike out there. I do, however beat alot of bikes and get beat by alot of them. Welcome to LIFE!

I say just enjoy the bike you have. No matter the make.
