No it actually has two clutches, a centrifugal type that connects the drive line when the rpm is high enough, that's why you don't just take off the machine is idleing, usually engages around 1800 - 2000 rpm. Also there's a conventional motorcycle type clutch that works when you shift gears. Instead of engaging when you pull a lever as on a motorcycle, it works on a linkeage connected to the shift pedal (when you move it up or down). There is an adjustment that puts the proper play in this linkeage. Both are wet clutches.

Yes, most definitely a wet clutch. I assume you are wondering which oil to use. NO FRICTION MODIFIERS, and preferrably something with JASO-MA approval.
